Cafe Rio, with over 60 locations when we came on board, wanted to update the decor and revitalize the interior design. Cafe Rio desired to retain the fun flavor of the brand, yet remain relevant in today’s market.
As Cafe Rio continued to grow the marketing strategy focused on new market development, app development, online ordering, web and off-premise business.
Core branding messages, that differentiated Cafe Rio from their competition, focused on made from scatch, fresh ingredients, and their full working open view kitchens. The new restaurant design and 2.0 positioning design rollout highlighted the kitchen, “freshmade” signature meals, drinks and sauces.
The new direction keeps the bright color pops transcended as accents and adds community and custom tables, new menus and in-store marketing collateral. We have worked together on 29 new stores and 13 remodels.
